Welcome to
agondabeach.in: After spending the winter in Agonda we got to know just about every place to eat, drink and sleep. Our sister site http://trekhimalayas.net/ has been running tours to Goa, but we felt there was something extra special about this place, enough to warrant a whole new site. There is still very little information on the web or in travel books about Agonda Beach as it seems to have been overshadowed by many of the larger, more populated beaches. But now there is a one stop shop for all you need to know about Agonda, straight from people who spend their winters here! Agonda is one of Goa 's quietest beaches. Come here in October or early November and you'll be lucky to meet 5 others while walking the beach. Even at the height of the season (around Christmas) it doesn't get too crowded. It is truly a magnificent site to see the sun setting here, and nearly every one is different. Take a trip up to the far left side of the beach in early mornings and buy freshly caught fish and lobster from the fishermen to take home for tea. Pick up some honey nut cake in the fabulous bakery on your way home. There are plenty of beach huts and guesthouses to stay in, and great beachside restaurants to tickle your fancy. We have recommended our favorite places on this site. If you have been here before why not help others and leave a comment or two. If you're a first timer then what are you waiting for; we'll arrange your accommodation for you, or check out this years Goan Tour and sign up today! |
